The official rule is to pick the right egg from the shuffled cups. You do not need a secret pattern. You need one target cup, a stable camera, and a selection made only after the cups stop.
Set the view before the reveal
Keep every cup on screen. In the walkthrough the layout was three positions the player called middle, left, and right. Put the camera where those three stay distinct, then leave it alone. Close the shop, rebirth, quest, and chat panels if they cover a path. On a phone, lift your finger off the cups until the shuffle ends. On desktop, rest the cursor on the egg instead of waving it across the table.
If the cups jump between frames, lower Roblox graphics and rejoin a public server before you blame your eyes. Skipped frames look like a tracking mistake.
Anchor, then update one fact
- At the reveal, say the start out loud or in your head: left, middle, or right. The Basic Egg in the walkthrough started in the middle.
- Follow the cup that covered the egg, not the dealer's hands and not the other two cups.
- Each time cups cross, replace the old position with the new one. "Middle, then left" means the answer is now left. Drop the history.
- Keep the cursor just above that cup if you play with a mouse. The walkthrough used that as a finger on the target.
- When motion stops, wait until the game accepts a pick. An early click that also drags the camera can spoil a correct read.
Recover without guessing all three
If you lose the cup, stay on the last position you still believe and make one pick. Mark that round uncertain. A lucky guess should not count as a clean track when you decide whether to raise the stake.
Use three calm rounds with the same egg. Round one is only the anchor. Round two is the first crossing. Round three is the full shuffle. If the same crossing always breaks, watch the gap where the target should come out, not the moment the cups overlap.
When to stop raising the stake
The walkthrough lost 80 million Cash by looking away as the round began. The player called that a rookie mistake: if you miss the start, the rest of the shuffle is a guess. Decline the "Would you like to play for..." prompt when the egg is too expensive for your current accuracy. They clicked no on 25,000 Cash specifically to wait for a better egg rather than force the round.
Play ten rounds and count clean correct picks separately from uncertain wins. Only the clean count should decide whether a more expensive egg is worth it. The comparison sheet is in Eggs and Stakes.
